Your Bio



Lin had a bachelor degree in Economics from China, a master degree in International Business from University of Sydney, Australia, and a master degree in public policy from the University of Michigan.

Lin loves exploring new places and making new friends. Traveling is a life passion for her. "Life is a journey to learn, to grow, to love, and to explore this world and yourself." That is Lin's belief. To her, photography and traveling are the vehicles taking her down along this path.

Lin won Jerry Uelsmann Choice Award at 2005 Great Lakes Digital Conference. From July 2005 to May 2009, Lin was a staff photographer for Photo Services at the University of Michigan.

2007 after coming back from Santa Fe Workshop, Lin started a photo project called Soul Mate, which is about the relationship between the musicians and their music instruments. Photographer Karen Kuehn is among many others as her inspiration.

Currently Lin lives in Northern Virginia. She works as an international economist. However, music and photography are still important part of her life.
